I LOVE this frame. I'm not one of those people that can punch all over. I am a directional puncher...I punch with the open, beveled end going in the direction I am punching, that is the way I was taught. That means I turn my frame a lot! So, I had my frame maker make us a frame with a swivel...hence the spinner™️. I cannot tell you how much easier it has made my punching.
Using the same basic design as our Standard Rug Hooking frame, The Spinner™️ has a 9 x 12 inch working area. That's a tremendous amount of working area for punching. This beautiful frame is made of cherry wood and has swivel bottom for a 360 degree turn The frame is 3 inches tall and has a slight slope toward you for comfortable punching. Using the frame as a lap frame you can sit comfortably in your favorite chair with your frame on your lap and be hands free as you punch and turn/spin as needed Because there is a 2/3 inch gap between the top frame and bottom part there is no risk of poking yourself. The frame comes with gripper strips on all four sides ensuring that your weavers cloth will stay on your frame and be as tight as you like for punching. (I like mine as tight as a drum). To work smaller pieces on this frame simply machine stitch scrap fabric onto your pattern if it's not big enough to fit the frame. Punch Needle Rotating Frame
I just received it this week and absolutely love it! It is comfortable on my lap and I love the ease of turning and punching. I do suggest to order one of the covers that go over the edges. It really hasn’t been an issue just a reminder that the pins are there. Looking at ordering the larger one for hookrug with the stand! Thank you so much for developing this! Out with the hoops in with the rotating needle punch frame!

The Spinner Punch Needle Frame
This frame and stand are worth every penny! It substantially speeded up my work because the work is fixed on the game and ball bearings allow the frame to smoothly and silently spin as you work. Your needle is always facing the right direction because within two minutes you will get the knack of controlling the frame. This is an innovation that works so well and is so well-made that I can’t believe it hasn’t simply become the standard. I use an UltraPunch needle and usually No. 5 or 10 crochet cotton, but my pieces are usually at least 12 x 12”, which is a lot of punching. I would say I’m getting pieces done in about a third less time using this system. I cannot recommend it - or The Old Tattered Flag folks - highly enough❤️! I just wish I’d found it sooner!

Spinner Punch Needle Frame
This frame has been a game changer for me. I love the spinner feature and holding this in my lap. Also so easy to get weavers cloth tight as a drum! No turning embroidery hoops anymore. Thanks for a great product! PS: I think I see a rug hooking spinner frame in my future….
