I LOVE this frame. I'm not one of those people that can hook all over. I am a directional hooker. That means I turn my frame a lot! So, I had my frame maker make us a frame with a swivel...hence "the spinner". I cannot tell you how much easier it has made my hooking.
Using the same basic design as our Standard Rug Hooking frame, The Spinner™️ has a 9 x 12 inch working area. This beautiful frame is made of cherry wood and has swivel bottom for a 360 degree turn The frame is 6 inches tall and has a slight slope toward you for comfortable hooking. Using the frame as a lap frame you can sit comfortably in your favorite chair with your frame on your lap and be hands free as you hook and turn/spin as needed The frame comes with gripper strips on all four sides ensuring that your monks cloth/linen will stay on your frame and be as tight as you like for hooking. (I like mine as tight as a drum). You will just love this frame!

LOVE THIS!!!! This is one of the best purchases I have EVER made! I'm thrilled with it. It's extremely well constructed, and does EXACTLY what it's supposed to do: it rotates a full circle, enabling the hooker to hook in any direction with ease. I have used mine every day since I've had it (I've only had it four days), but The Spinner Rug Hooking Frame is such a pleasure to work with, I can't wait to get to my project. The night I received my frame, I hooked until 2 a.m. because it's truly such a delight to use. Old Tattered Flag's customer service is OUTSTANDING! I had emailed Julie about a shipping concern, and in less than 24 hours, she had sent me thoughtful and helpful reply. This is a wonderful shop; the quality of their merchandise is superior. This Frame is awesome!! At this point it's the only one I use. The grippers are tight and the spinning is a game changer. Next i just need to buy the bigger one :)
