13 inch "Shorty" plastic pads are necessary to use these dies. The shorter pads you received with your Sizzix machine will not work. The 13 inch plastic pads are sold separately here on our website or as an option up above.
Do you love Wool Applique or scrapbooking? Then this die is for you! Custom designed by us and made special for The Old Tattered Flag, this die has templates for 2 different sized Holly leaves, the large ones are 3 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide and the small ones are 2 inches long by 1 inch wide. These are wonderful sizes your wool applique projects. If you run 3 layers of wool through the machine you will be able to cut multiples of each shape and they will be perfectly cut with nice clean edges. Position your wool in the section you want to cut only one size. Don't forget that you can use this die with paper as well.

I just received my order on Wed. so I haven't actually used it yet. I'm looking forward to using it soon.
This sounds crazy I realize, but both dies I ordered smell like a smokehouse meat smell. I have tried ZorbX but it doesn't work on removing the odor. Any safe advice on removing the odor would be appreciated. It's overwhelming in my Cabinet that I store my other dies in, along with Sewing Supplies, Fabrics etc. So I have them out on a table attempting to air themselves out.
