13 inch "Shorty" plastic pads are necessary to use these dies. The shorter pads you received with your Sizzix machine will not work. The 13 inch plastic pads are sold separately here on our website or as an option up above.
It's that time of year when we start thinking about Christmas trees and it is with that in mind that we designed this fun die. The die has 3 different templates for cutting shaped beads. It is our intent to use these with wool and other fabrics, however you can also cut paper with this die and make delicate paper bead necklaces. Imagine a garland of beads made with a pretty wool and adorned with silver or gold beads. How pretty! Each shape is 6 inches long and the longest width is 1 inch. Roll these around a skewer and secure with a dot of glue, then seal with clear nail polish or polyeurethane to finish, then string as desired. If you run 3 layers of wool through the machine you will be able to cut multiples of each shape and they will be perfectly cut with nice clean edges. Position your wool in the section you want to cut only one size. Don't forget that you can use this die with paper as well.
