This is interesting and really quite fun. I've been playing with this technique for a few weeks now and having seen how a couple projects have come out, I'm envisioning lots of ways to use this. You will need a rug hook and frame for this, so essentially you could call it a rug hooking project, but technically it's not rug hooking. I'm calling this technique "thatching" as that's what it looks like to me.

The kit will come with the tree pattern, drawn on linen, the green wool, directions, and the beautiful wooden base. (Star NOT included)
You will need: a rug hooking hook, a rug hooking frame, needle, thread, fiberfill, and a hot glue gun.
