Strawberries and Cream Applique Mat

Look at this gorgeous little mat. Susan will show you how to take advantage of the color in the wools and the threads to help create the look in this lovely finished mat. This is a simple project with easy stitching that most should finish in class. Students will need to bring scissors for cutting thread. They will receive pattern, wool, thread with needle. The finished piece is 7 x 9 inches and pairs well with the Strawberry plant that Mary Annunziato is teaching in the afternoon.
The class will be under the big tent in the backyard of The Old Tattered Flag.
