Do you love to make wool flowers or add proddy elements to your rug? Then this die is for you. Custom designed by us and made special for The Old Tattered Flag, this die has templates for 4 different petals; Sunflower, Daisy (rounded petal), carnation or Dahlia. That said, these petals can be made for whatever flower you would like. Use your imagination. You can also make trees as shown, or a pumpkin. Mix the petals to make a fluffy sheep, a lion mane, a peacock. The sky is the limit! The petals measure 1 x 3 inches. You can put 3 layers of wool on the die which will give you; 24 round petals, 24 pointed petals, 12 jagged petals and 18 pointed strip petals with one pass through the machine. Wow!

25 inch plastic pads are necessary to use these dies. The shorter pads you received with your Sizzix machine will not work as they will not extend the length of the cutting area. The 25 inch plastic pads are sold separately here on our website or as an add on option above.

Can I use an accuquilt machine?
No, these dies are made to work with Sizzix machines. You can use the Sizzix Big shot or any other Sizzix machine that has a 6 inch opening.
How long do the dies last?
We started using this amazing die cutting system in 2012 and our first die is still going strong and cutting as perfect as the first day we used it.
Can I cut other things?
Yes, most definitely! Die cutting systems are meant to cut a variety of fabrics and you can even cut paper for scrapbooking. Sizzix has hundreds of wonderful products for scrapbooking and quilting.
