Carol had fun playing in the dye pots! It totals over 1 lb. of wool that is well over a yard. This color was a happy accident when one day Mom screwed up her recipe. Well, the result was a wonderfully primitive Green that our friend Laurie fell in love with, so we will forever know this color as Laurie's green. The green is dyed over 3 wools with each one having a different texture and starting color base, so the result is a different tone of green for each piece but when used together, these three pieces will create magic!
~Here's the Nitty Gritty ~
All wool from The Old Tattered Flag will come to you washed and ready to use. Since wool is a natural fiber it shrinks during the dye/wash process. Finished sizes will vary due to different woolens but all have started with the same measurement (36 x 60). (average measurement for a yard of fabric after dying and washing is 58 x 34, but again, some do differ.
*We photograph our wool under light aiming to get the most true color as we see it. Due to the difference in monitors some wool may appear darker or lighter than it actually is. We do our best to describe each piece.
