I designed a rug for the New York State fair, in which we won the blue ribbon. I have had many requests for animal rugs since, so I decided to do a large rug pattern. I also have four separate rugs; a cow, a sheep, a pig and a chicken available, check our other listings to find those (see picture #3). This pattern is 28 x 35 inches. It is truly a special design, so fun and whimsical, yet primitive and folky at the same time.
All of our patterns are drawn on monks cloth, paying close attention to the straight of the grain. Linen is available for an extra fee. If you would like your pattern drawn on linen, please select the option above.

Patterns come with a colored cover photo, unless otherwise noted, including a rug recipe card with our recommended woolen amounts and the size of strip we used to hook it. However, you may hook using whatever size strips you would like.
