Introducing our newest tree making die. Our evergreen die creates more realistic wool trees with nice, cut shapes resembling greenery. Using your favorite tree making method, you will wrap the long wool evergreen segments around the wire, loose and "drapey" or pushed tighter together on the wire for a more full looking branch. See picture #2 for the "drapey" tree version on the right or the fuller version on the left.
For tree making you can use the wooly fringe tree method of wrapping wire then assembling the tree or using a wire tree base.
For traditional wooly tree making instructions using wire pieces and assembling them on a dowel, we have found that the best written instructions are from By the Bay Needlearts found on Etsy.

25 inch plastic pads are necessary to use these dies. The shorter pads you received with your Sizzix machine will not work as they will not extend the length of the cutting area. The 25 inch plastic pads are sold separately here on our website or as an add on option above.

Can I use an accuquilt machine?
No, these dies are made to work with Sizzix machines. You can use the Sizzix Big shot or any other Sizzix machine that has a 6 inch opening.
How long do the dies last?
We started using this amazing die cutting system in 2012 and our first die is still going strong and cutting as perfect as the first day we used it.
Can I cut other things?
Yes, most definitely! Die cutting systems are meant to cut a variety of fabrics and you can even cut paper for scrapbooking. Sizzix has hundreds of wonderful products for scrapbooking and quilting.
