This is a very versatile cutting die. Use it to cut edgings for applique pieces, cards, etc. It can be used for fabric or paper. You can also gather it as shown below on a needle to bunch it and make frilly edges for your punch needle or rug hooking pieces. You can also roll or gather these wonderful edgings on floral wire and make fabric flowers. So much fun!! Use your imagination, the sky is the limit! The rounded edgings are 1 inches wide, the pointed edging is 1 1/2 inches. You can put 3 layers of wool on the die to cut 3 edgings at a time. 25 inch plastic pads are necessary to use these dies. The shorter pads you received with your Sizzix machine will not work as they will not extend the length of the cutting area. The 25 inch plastic pads are sold separately here on our website or as an add on option above.

Can I use an accuquilt machine?
No, these dies are made to work with Sizzix machines. You can use the Sizzix Big shot or any other Sizzix machine that has a 6 inch opening.
How long do the dies last?
We started using this amazing die cutting system in 2012 and our first die is still going strong and cutting as perfect as the first day we used it.
Can I cut other things?
Yes, most definitely! Die cutting systems are meant to cut a variety of fabrics and you can even cut paper for scrapbooking. Sizzix has hundreds of wonderful products for scrapbooking and quilting.

Edges Trims and Flowers Cutying Die
Love all 3 shapes, but so far the fatter rounded strip is my favorite. Makes a great flower. Gathering it to finish an edge is fabulous!
