This project is absolutely fabulous but I want to make sure to let you know that it takes A LOT of wool. It requires 2 1/4 yards of Orange wool and 1/8 yard of light brown wool and wire for the stem. This project is not difficult......it's just BIG. The linen required for this has 6 large sections drawn on it for your pumpkin. Hooking is done with 3/4 - 1 inch strips, so the pattern only comes on linen as that is easier to use with torn strips. The finished pumpkin is 18 inches tall (with the stem) and 15 inches wide.
*You will need to hand sew sections together and you will need stuffing or filling of some kind to stuff your pumpkin. Hot glue is also used for the stem.

Patterns come with a colored cover photo, unless otherwise noted, including a rug recipe card with our recommended woolen amounts and the size of strip we used to hook it. However, you may hook using whatever size strips you would like.
