The "Brassy" Hook ~ Slim Handle Short Shank 10mm (Previously Irish)

As many of you may know, we are no longer able to get Irish hooks as the maker has decided to retire.  Well, The Old Tattered Flag is proud to have found a new maker to provide this "cadillac" of Rug Hooks.  Our new "Brassy" hooks are from Brass and mahogany and have been crafted to provide you with a wonderful and simple hooking experience.
The brass hooks are carefully rounded and smoothed to glide easily through the backing and pull loops without catching or 
tearing. 10mm is recommended for hooking strips #9 and up...it's wonderful for torn strips as well.   The short shank as opposed to the long shank is merely preference.
