Summer is finally here and we are so excited to be hosting our favorite event again! Our shop is rural....in the middle of nowhere, we like to say. In fact you can see the cows grazing, right down the road, so you could say we have that down home, rustic, Old Tattered Flag feeling, the moment you enter our shop.
What is the 8th Annual Gathering of Friends Hook-In?
It is a wonderful day of hooking and punching, stitching, laughing, sharing inspiration, shopping with talented artisan vendors, a rug and punch needle show and contest, delicious food, lots of door prizes, and a shop full of goodies and more!

~ The Menu ~
Our caterer, Tiffany from The Art of Gathering is creating a visually stunning and even more importantly, a delicious Grazing Table that will offer choices for everyone. It will have an assortment of cheeses, crackers, meats, nuts, fruits, individual salad cups, sandwiches and more.
After purchase you will receive an email confirmation with local and other pertinent information. We send email confirmations in batches so you may not receive it right away. Please be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive this email within 5 days.
You do not need a physical "ticket", simply check in at the name tag table the day of the event.

Lisa Evans ~ Folk for All Seasons
Lisa offers a wonderful seletion of folkart using antique and architectural salvage pieces and combining it with paper mediums and her unique style of painting.
Katelyn Evans ~ Folk for All Seasons
Katie will have a wonderful selection of patterns inspired from Lisa's folkart as well as some beautiful finished items.
Lydia Middaugh ~ Charlie's Daughter
Lydia is an exceptional wool applique artist. She will have a selection of her own designs for applique.

The Wool-n-Gardener ~ Jan Cole
Jan offers a beautiful assortment of hand dyed wool and some of your favorite Rug Hooking patterns.

Teresa's Prim Treasures
Teresa brings a wonderful assortment of patterns, prim supplies and doodads. We love everything she does!

After you purchase your "ticket" for the Gathering you will receive an email from us with locations of hotels, restaurants, places of interest in our area. We have a small block of rooms at the Hampton Inn with discounted rates. Mention The Old Tattered Flag to receive the discount.
**The email will only be sent to the person who purchased the tickets. If you bought tickets for you and someone else, please be sure and share the information with them**
~ The Rug Show ~
This year the rug and punch show will be held in our new "class room" so your rug will be protected from the elements. Please feel free to bring one or two hooked rugs and or punch needle/stitched pieces. Prizes will be given out at the end of the day.
In the email that we send out, you will also receive a Rug/Punch Needle tag that we ask you to attach to your rug or punch needle submission. We will have Rug tags here so if you forget, don't worry. Our staff will hang your rugs the morning of the Gathering. This makes for an enjoyable Rug and Punch Needle show throughout the day. This is the time to show off your talent!!
Voters choice prizes will be announced at 2:30
**This is an outdoor event that is held under tents. We have rented a very large tent this year that will house both guests and vendors, so everyone will be protected from the elements......but it's not going to rain!
We do provide plenty of beverages throughout the day, bug spray and assistance to the sitting area should you need it. It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny and 70 degrees with not a bug in site,
we just know it.
